Pregnancy, it’s a whole new world. From the moment you consider starting to try to conceive, if you accidentally conceive or even already if you’re already pregnant. It’s all new and it can easily become overwhelming. This is the first dedicated pregnancy chat on the Well Woman Podcast and I’m joined by doula April Davis to chat with me all things preparing for conceiving and pregnancy.

April has been supporting women with pregnancy for over a decade in many different ways (bio below) so it’s safe to say she knows her stuff when it comes to preparing for this new journey for women. And of course, I ask her all the funny in-between questions too – enjoy.

.

Meet Our Podcast Guest:

April Davis is the creator of The Vagina Blog, for everything female health related. Safe to say she care’s a lot about vaginas. Between attending births as a doula, a photographer and a birth assistant to a midwife she’s seen a lot of them. Friends and family send her pictures of pussy wallets, plush uteri and hilarious sex books. And it wasn’t until she spent a weekend at a conference for sex therapists that she thought – “I truly thought I had found my people”.
